Tooth pain/ Toothache refers to the symptom of pain arising from the tooth/ teeth or its related structures (Gums/ Bone Issues).

Why is my toothache so painful??

The pulp inside your teeth is soft material filled with nerves, tissues and blood vessels. These nerves of your pulp are sensitive and any irritation or infection cased by bacteria can cause pain.

If you are experiencing tooth pain, that lasts more than a minute and continue to linger and repeats, it is a sign of disturbance in tooth structure or its surrounding tooth structures. The proper diagnosis and treatment of tooth infections are important to prevent it from spreading to other parts of the face and skull and possibly even blood stream.
